Episode: 01 The Brand of Darkness

(It is night time, on planet Venus. The skies are cloudly, dark, and occasionally burst with lightning. Two figures are barely seen against the dark night sky. One appears to be a young boy, and the other, a man. They stand in front of an obscure object which appears to be a tree.)

Boy: Father, are you sure about this?
Man: When I want your opinion, I’ll give it to you. Now shut up, and help out for a change.
Boy: ……………

(We see the tree, panning downwards. It has a large dark red object imbedded in it. The object begins illuminating itself. It appears to be a large dark red heart.)

Man: This is it. No turning back now.
Boy:……………

(The man pulls out his weapon. It extends into a large staff like blade. He stands ready for action.)

Man: What are you thinking?
Boy:……………
Man: I asked you a question! Now answer me.
Boy:……………
Man: I see. Well suit yourself.

(The man raises his weapon, and right as he is about to strike…)

Boy: NO! I don’t care what you say, or do to me, just don’t set it free. Please father…don’t.
Man: Is that what this is about? Look, we’ve been through this before. I need a little protection, right?
Boy: I know.
Man: If I don’t get this power, how could I protect you from all the monsters out there? You’d be killed so easily. Really it’s sad how pathetic you are.
Boy: ………….
Man: Is there something else?

(The boy places his hand over his heart, and clutches his chest.)

Boy: (I don’t know why but my heart is crying.)
Man: Well, let’s get this over with then.

(The man jumps at the heart and plunges his weapon deep into the tree. The heart begins pulsing, and glowing vibrantly. A loud wicked laugh echoes, and the two gentelmen stare in awe of the spectacle. A black goop begins oozing from the heart.)

Man: What is this gunk? Is THIS the power? What a joke.
Voice: It is called shade.
Man: Who said that? Show your self!
Voice: There’s no need to fret, I’ll be with you shortly.

(The ooze begins forming into strange worm-like tendrils, and then forms into an odd character.)

Man: Who the hell are you?
Koshiro: My name is Koshiro. And who may I ask, had the honor of releasing me from my imprisonment?
Scepter: I’m Captus Shikigami, but everyone calls me Scepter.
Koshiro: And who is this mournful troll?
Scepter: That? Oh, that’s my son Kaison.
Koshiro: Hello there little one.
Kaison: …………..
Scepter: Koshiro, I was told there would be a great power here. I need that power, so will you give it too me willingly, or am I going to have to force it out of you?
Koshiro: Well, you certainly like to get down to business don’t you. Alright I will give you what you came here for. So tell me, how would you like to die?

(Scepter stares for a moment, the he and Koshiro both laugh.)

Scepter: Right. Whatever. Be serious now, how do I get that power.
Koshiro: I was serious.

(A large tentacle of shade shoots from Koshiro’s arm, and entangles Scepter, easily lifting him high into the air.)

Koshiro: Such beautiful agony. I think I’ll crush you slowly.
Scepter: EEEEAAAAAAGH!!!
Kaison: STOP IT! STOP! STOP! STOP! STOP! STOP IT NOW!!!
Koshiro: What did you say?
Kaison: Please…don’t kill him…
Koshiro: My ears are deaf to your pleas.
Kaison:…………Take me instead.
Koshiro: What was that…

(Koshiro drops Scepter to the ground, and turns his attention towards Kaison.)

Kaison: Kill me instead.
Koshiro:………….
Scepter: KAISON! NO! I WON’T LET YOU DIE!
Koshiro: Intriguing…….you would give your life up, to a man who cares nothing for you. You would be willing to die, so that another might live on, even though they would live on in agony knowing that you were dead.
Kaison:………..
Koshiro: I have a proposal. I am prepared to be quite generous.
Scepter: You devil! I’ll kill you!
Koshiro: Pathetic weakling! You don’t stand a chance.
Scepter: I will protect my son.
Kaison:……….What must I do?
Koshiro: Ah! So you will hear me out.
Kaison: Yes.

(Koshiro begins covering the ground in shade. Scepter and Kaison are stuck to the spot.)

Koshiro: You must give up your life to me. You will be all mine forever. In return, I will spare Scepter’s life and give him the power he desires.
Kaison: And if I refuse?
Koshiro: You’ll get what you really want. Scepter will die, but you will live on in guilt.
Scepter: Kaison! No! Escape while you can!
Koshiro: You’re hardly at a position to speak. Make up your mind fast, or else you both die.
Kaison: ………….
Koshiro: Which will it be?
Kaison: …………..
Koshiro: Him…
Kaison…………….
Koshiro: or………..
Kaison: …………..
Koshiro: you.

(Silence. Kaison stands silent. A tear falls from his eye.)
Kaison: I accept.
Scepter: KAISON!

(Scepter sees Kaison become covered with shade and disappear. Scepter begins crying himself, as steam begins coming from his skin.)

Scepter: Such sorrow. EEEEAAAAAAGH!!!
Koshiro: Yes! I will burn your sins deep into your flesh! Scars you shall never forget.

(Koshiro Laughs then disappears. Scepter falls to the ground. Scars glow on his body.)

as for that stuff for the contest that i said id giv ya anyways?...well iam still waiting to get my picture scaned so that i can post it all together....may be late and all for it...but who knows ..you might like it anyways right??

well i better get started on pyros and my comic... ..man i have alot of shit to do for that ...and we finally came up with a title....WILD ELEMENTS...

(The scene is in space. A black planet with no sun, but instead a large blue moon is illuminated in the distance. As the camera zooms in, a small yellow light can be seen pouring from a window. A quick glance of an odd spaceship looms overhead. Suddenly, maniacal laughter pierces the night sky, with a stroke of thunder. We are now inside the odd little building. Against a deep red wall a shadow appears laughing crazily.)

Shadowed Figure: At long last! After my years of studying and scheming, I have finally created the ultimate evil! (A laugh) The final legacy of the wise and mighty…

(We see an odd individual; it is Dr. Anthony Gerto. His monocle is retracted.)

Anthony: Dr. Anthony Gerto! (He poses) And now all across the galaxy, my name shall spread, like a bad case of gas, choking and infecting all whom come into contact with it. Hmm hmm! Oh yes. It shall. For now the time of action is at hand. I have completed my super project!

(Anthony begins doing a victory dance of sorts. The camera pans to the side. A woman is mopping the floor. It is Janessa. She giggles slightly. Anthony walks over to her.)

Anthony: AH! Janessa! My precious! My pretty! My baby! You shall make daddy very proud! My dear, sweet, adorable, little, Bio Chaos. Your beauty is unmatched throughout the 13 galaxies. Never have I gazed upon such awesome perfection. (His monocle emerges. It scans Janessa, focusing in on the vital points.) You are worthy of the highest title. You shall be my greatest achievement! Heh heh.

Janessa: Doctor, you flatter me.

(Anthony walks over to a fish bowl. There is a fish inside. The fish is very ugly. Outside the bowl is a nametag that says Larry.)

Anthony: And you, my little friend, are…well…hmmm…
Larry: …(bleep) you! You (bleeping) moron.
Anthony: Yes. Well.
Larry: I oughta kick your (bleeping) butt! I’m the true genius. The seventh sign is at hand! My reign is nigh! Bow to the (bleeping) powers of Larry the (bleeping) fish!
Anthony: Insolence! I ought to have you flushed.

(Larry waits for a moment, and then pulls out a sign with the word “baka” on it.)

Anthony: Little one, you just don’t understand do you. What you are, why you are?
Larry: No. But I bet you’re gonna (bleeping) tell me aren’t you.

(Anthony removes Larry from the bowl, and sets him in his palm.)

Anthony: You my little friend are what I call BIO CHAOS! A biological creation made from the very same chaotic matter that made the universe itself.
Larry: So. What does that mean?
Anthony: It means, that within your genetic code, you hold the power of a god!
Larry: Yeah! That’s right! Bow to me biznatch!
Anthony: Ever since my daddy, chose my dear sweet brother for the job, I’ve been MAD with jealousy.
Larry: Job? What (bleeping) job.
Anthony: Ruler of the known universe, my boy! Ultimate power. You don’t really think the ultimate good and the ultimate evil spend their time making sure the universe doesn’t fall apart do you?
Larry: Well…yeah…they should…
Anthony: Ah! But they don’t! Everon, the supreme god of light, and Neveross, the supreme god of darkness, spend their immortal existences fighting each other.
Larry: Yeah. You think they’d know better…I mean, why bother fighting someone that you know you can’t ever beat?
Anthony: Because, that’s how it is. Good and Evil will always fight each other. It would be impossible for the two to unite into perfection. That would negate everything in existence.

(The scene switches back to Janessa. She is still mopping. A computer screen turns on close to her, displaying a distress signal. She is unsure about what to do.)

Janessa: Well I suppose I should let them in, if they are in distress.

(Janessa pushes a button. The screen says defense shields down. Back to Anthony.)

Anthony: So, the two of them, met with my father, and asked him to keep things in check while the two of them fought for supremacy. They gave him a disk, containing all the data in the universe, the past, the present, and the future.
Larry: I remember this, you stole the future didn’t you.
Anthony: Yes. I did steal the future. I tricked him into letting me borrow it, the idiot!
Larry: Who’s him?
Anthony: My brother Gerad. HE was the one to receive the ultimate power. Not me! So I took the future from him! And now he’s as stupid and helpless as a disgruntled fish!
Larry: I resemble that remark.

(Janessa open the door to the outside. A flash of lightning illuminates a dark figure.)

Janessa: Can I help you sir?

(Anthony is now back to the bowl, he places Larry back inside.)

Anthony: And now Gerad’s power gives rise to my ultimate beings. The bio-cha-
(The sounds of glass shattering. Anthony turns around.)

Anthony: Hmmm…Interesting.

(Anthony walks to the door of his room. We see glimpses of the strange figure leaving. Janessa is lying on the ground unconscious. A black feather falls next to her. Then all the lights turn off.)

Anthony: Janessa? Is that you my dear? Why did you cut the power? (Silence) Night vision, on.

(Anthony’s monocle begins emitting a red glow. It illuminates the figure of a heavily breathing monster.)

Anthony: A bio chaos! How did you get out of your tube!

(Anthony is thrown into a wall. His monocle falls to the ground, casting Anthony’s shadow onto the wall.)

Anthony: How dare you do this to me! I am your master! I command you! I control you!

Yes, Raishinshi was the inspiration for the new Kaison. Originally, He was a short 13 year old boy with brown hair, and Bat wings. He wore a traditional Japanese school uniform, and was trapped within a dimension of dreams. One could only see Kaison by standing infront of a mirror and repeating his name on the eve of a bloody moon. Kaison would then appear and posses the person who called them and use their body to do dark deeds, and then slay them. The idea for the 1st Kaison came from the Tenchi Muyo movie #2, Daughter of Darkness, and the movie Legend with Tom Cruise.

The second Kaison was similar to the 1st in appearance, but he had black and white spiky hair. He was no longer completely evil, but he was still a demon. Kaison at this point became the son of a dude named Scepter, and a woman named Zeera. Kaison hung out with his best friend and semi-master Koshiro. Kaison was quieter and more elegant on his way during this form. It was inspired by the relationship of Ramirez and Galcian from the Dreamcast game Skies of Arcadia.

The third Kaison is the Kaison we have now. When I first saw a preview of Houshin Engi, I was amazed that there was a character that looked so similar to Kaison. Raishinshi was older, buffer, and more elf like, with odd looking wings and a tan. But it was the closest anyone had ever come to my version. I began to take a liking to Raishinshi, and soon he became my favorite character. At which point I decided it was time to give Kaison an overhaul. Essentially I took the second Kaison and put him on a stringent bodybulding plan and gave him a more heroic personality. I figured It would be much cooler to have Kaison Kicking azz and taking names if he werem't a 98 pound weakling with white skin and a school uniform. So his shirt was removed and replaced with an array of leather belts to try and give that Final Fantasy brawlwer appeal. His body became about 5 times larger and his attitude became cooler. I looked at Raishinshi a lot, and tried my hardest to duplicate his face and style. Raishinshi had a look that seemed to fit perfectly for Kaison, an thru that inspiration we have the Kaison we all know and love today!
