I've looked around the net and I usually find Geocities sites with tons of broken links. I really like anime but only watch it if it's on TV (basic cable), so I don't even know whats really good and what isn't.

Just curious what everyone favorate anime is. If you had to pick just one. I've seen a few anime's im interested in but have no Idea what they were called, and it would take way too long to describe em. A couple that come to mind is Vampire Hunter D and one I think was Ninja scroll but I can't remember.

well ive always known about anime, but i started getting into it about 6-8 months ago. what i realized that the stories that drive the industry are amazing. unpredictable, well thought out, and imaginative. totally what anything american/western is lacking.so pretty much any anime is my fav (unless its that really kid-like crap ie pokemon) examples:

trigun
cowboy bebop
akira
ghost in the shell(great)
ninja scroll
princess mononoke
gundam wing(meh)
hmm theres def a few more, just cant remember.

My favourite series are series like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Serial Experiments Lain...

Akatt: Blood - TLV is not really an ep but a movie Only in Japan there also is a video game, comic, and perhaps some other oav's, which, when you combine them all, form one story through time. That's if I got my records straight anyway XD

well you could allways see what local videostores have up for rent

as for animes to look for my little list

Streetfighter Animated movie
The reference for martial arts animes if you ask me.

It pretty much started the anime wave on the western hemisphere.
Its good too know the history, right.
Oh not realy important but it is an awesome movie too

(hm a nose bleeding emoticon would come handy now).

(dang a nose bleeding thing is somehow missing) They tried to sneak a panty shot into every scene.
Which is so ridiclious and so funny (I think a magazin stated that the movie statisticly had 4 pantyshots per minute).

Ghost in the Shell
Perfect cyberpunk felling, interesting step to have a different chara design than the mangas (but I miss the futchikomas ).

Escaflowne seems to be a nice tv show tho. But I lost the track when they showed it over here.
MTV is reshowing the series allready maybe I again jump in someday.

oki enough for now maybe I remember more later.

Rurouni Kenshin + Love Hina. I love em both.

Also, Hayao Miyazaki's latest, Spirited Away, is a real gem.

I haven't really seen any anime. I've only seen two and I liked them both.

Both pretty good, I wanna see Blood: the last vampire now 'cause that looks cool.

Okay, I guess i have seen more anime than I thought....my first experience was Pokemon.
It totally turned me off from any more anime, but luckily I started to try watching some different anime, which is good 'cause there's a lot of good stuff out there.

well pokemon was a 100% comercial thing so nothing to worry about.
