hmm, favourite anime styles? no idea... think this may have something to do with how frustrated I've been getting with my art recently... the art I most admire is that which looks as realistic as possible... I really like anime artwork, and when someone has a style together and everything looks smooth, professional and easy, that always looks amazing. I mean, like Traum4's art, for example. BUT I don't wanna draw like him!I just have an image of this shot of Tulip in the first book of Preacher, looking horrified, and you can see every last line on her face-but she doesn't look ugly, she looks anguished... I dunno, that picture just touched me, you know? The emotion in it... I want to recreate that for myself! I want my characters to look real, so you can imagine what they'd be like if they sat down next to you, and I want to show every emotion and detail properly. if you shaved the heads of the Preacher characters, you'd still be able to tell them apart-I want that! If one of my characters wears a pony tail all the time, if he or she takes it down I still want it to be THEM! obviously them, no-one else... grr! Doing a lot of drawing from photos right now. Everything else just annoys and frustrates me... Pixie
