Personally, I'm glad Weta Workshops is going to do the sfx. As long as they don't change the eva designs (and the angel designs apart from that.. err 5th one? I dunno; the ugly one )

And well, they're gonna adapt the story anyway, so it'll probably loose all the cult the original had. I thinks that's gonna bother me most :/

And I sense a very high screw up capability for a evangelion real movie (especialy when it is made by hollywood).
I mean they propably change the story to take place in the USA.
Together with the nationality of the team like they do so often, to get more people into the cinema.
Also Im not too sure, if it is even possible to put the whole storie into the size of one movie.

btw. I think crying freeman was partly a frensh movie .

oh and the actors name is Marc Dacascos I like him.
The funny thing is that he plays a nice mix of nationality, hawaian (what he is ) chinese, japanese,half japanese half american (crying freeman), american, native american (le pact des loups, awesome movie) brazilian, mexican thats all I have seen sofar but I bet there are more ).

I read some of the crying freeman mangas preety cool. alot more violence and sex then the movie has and very realistic drawings (besides the fact that enemys almost allways appear as 3 meter giants at some point).
