Anyone have any idea if/when it's gonna come out in Europe at all? I liked the original, and I saw a clip of this on the Animatrix DVD, so it'd be quite nice if this was released in Europe and the UK at some point.

Oh? What's the film like? Is it any good?
On another note, I've just gone and ordered it from Amazon zShops (hope that's a good idea, but i guess i'll find out when i get it ) so i won't really bother until it comes out here. Plus, it only cost me about £12- £13, cheaper than most of the DVDs in shops and stuff...

Oh, don't worry, it's amazing. The animation on itself is a piece of exceptional art, and the actual content is damn good.

In my opinion of course

Ah the first one - you could pretty much call it a sort of introduction, if you want, to the man himself, and to what he's like as a person. Of course, compared to Bloodlust, the animation and artwork isn't as good (this is 1985 we're talkin about), but the film itself is cool, it establishes the dark man that he is.

Yeah, the first one was a really old anime, but still really good too, as I remember. I saw Bloddlust about 2 or 3 months ago and was like WOAH! The animation just blows you away- the art style is similar to Ninja Scroll and other Kawajiri(sp?) animes. The character designs in Bloodlust are fantastic too and D looks so much cooler than in the first movie and I still have no idea what his 'Hand' is all about but it rocks!

Oh cool, you saw it? Are there any decent fights, and does D use his sword a lot more? Also, where did you see it?

Yeah- the fights are pretty good. D's bounty hunting a another big vampire and on the way he as well as another team of Bounty hunters have to fight off evil demon henchman with some very nifty special abilities, which like Ninja scroll is always good!

I saw the USA DVD. Ive hacked my computer's DVD player to be able to play any region DVDs, so it's all good

U saw the US version here? How'd u get hold of it? Hehe, mebbe there's an anime importer I haven't heard about...
On another note, I ordered the DVD more than 1 MONTH AGO from an Amazon zshop seller called niontour. They said it would come to me in about 3 weeks... well, it's about 5, and the supplier still hasn't shipped it yet. I am rather *pissed* off, to say the least. So, for anyone who wants to avoid the *severe* delay that I've suffered, avoid ordering from anyone called or affiliated with niontour. Otherwise, like me, you could end up looking like this -
