That seems pretty much the same as the UK TV schedual- not much anime on TV over here, but it's better than 5 years ago when you'd be lucky to get one series all year on TV! I'd advise saving up and buying some decent stuff on DVD or VHS

I really dont think Anime is given the respect it should be! The truth is it has some of the best series in the world, Tenchi, Bebop, Outlaw Star, and many others besides. People in the U.K should wake up and realise the true potential of the animated medium, not just Anime but other styles as well. I know this was originally about Canada but its the same in most places.

and u know what the stupidest thing about it is. Last year at computer camp(don't laghe) there was this kid from USA and he said that on his cable they have a channel called anime network they show every i mean every anime show there ever was he even told me a few i never heard about half of them were direct from japan and only had subtitles. But u know just can't have that in canada for every one to pay 25cents extra well! there goes my live savings.(if can't tell i am very mad right know)

The old Dragon Ball Z rules all! I found a really cool anime called Apocalypse Zero. Anybody seen it?

I feel your pain Tri_kento. I mean at one point I had one channel showing me Neon Genesis Evangelion and Blue Gender (Sci Fi) another channel showing me Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop (CNX) and yet another showing me Escaflowne and Medabots (Fox Kids) but now they have given up on me . Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing and Beyblade are all thats left and it sucks. Oh and Big O but im not too keen on that either.

yeh, tri, he was probably talking about ondemand, which Xion has, it comes with IO cable for an extra like 25 cents or so! It's soooo cool! (dang, i sound like a commercial)
But for some reason, my IO cable is pretty messed up, so I can't watch like ANY anime shows on ondemand, but I'm working on it...

Well i've given some time on the animes and i've written a few letter bombs to my cable company , but it all seems to make no dif , so i spent my time picking up better technices for drawing and such , also i wrote many stupied emails to people i don 't know. Life has been full of fun. Also i would suggest when your at home and your watching tv and nothing good is on just pull up a chair and start drawing wat ever ,it really makes time fly. (I did this twice on my summer vaction, got some really strange things I might scan them later so we can have a yuk about my counte side witch isn't real , tho i do hear strange sounds at night.

Digital Cable is where it's all at I think. New channels such as Adult Swim, Anime Network on demand and G4techtv channel's anime unleashed.
Then you still have Cartoon Network's Toonami and Adult Swim anime serieslineup, which I think are the best 2 programs compared to all the others.
Although MTV 2 used to air the old sci-fi series, Aeon Flux a few months ago.
