Hey Ben. I got your step-by-step manga book. I am AnimePn0yfan... but again i forgot my password. Anyway.
I got the one for kids and it is pretty good. The problem is...D-boy is a poser XD...I gave him a wave cap instead lol. It is pretty neat.

It is good for little kids. Especially since the other one was not for kids in which I have. ROCK ON DUDE! And continue drawing.

- It's a 64 page book focussing on drawing 6 specific characters. I've searched on Google and it seems the book's not out in stores yet, just through school book fairs or book clubs.. but noone tells me anything so I could be wrong!

Art of Drawing Manga 144 page version and Drawing Manga in simple steps (the 80 page version of TAODM)

German editions of TAODM and the new Step by Step Manga

- Crap ones to be honest! If you've bought TAODM, there's not much need to get the condensed "Drawing manga in simple steps" version, especially for the shoddy materials it comes with- you'd be better off sticking with your current materials or buying some decent branded equipment to use. As for the free pencils included with "Step-by-step Manga", I wouldn't even use them for fire wood! They're just a cheap gimmick to lure in younger kids and parents to make them feel like they're getting a good deal by offering "free artist's equipment"! But at the end of the day, it the guys marketing the book think it will increase sales, I can't complain.
I'd like to think generally more people will buy the book for it's quality content more than anything else.
