OMG OMG OMG it's the coolest movie i've ever seen, abit surreal but still very cool, wow. i love the bit where he has all the wires coming out of his arms and growing through that chair and when he destroys the space cannon and that laser gun??? whats with that? anywas what a cool movie

sokay but the story line sucks ass

i mean lets be honest manga and anime storylines are the doldrums compared to western storylines. the reason i draw manga style is because it has so much style and character compared to the pathetic marvel style. come to think of it marvel stories suck too. but 2000 ad has some good storylines as well as french comics. all European ha

I think Akira has a good story line. Especialy the manga.

Depends on the anime you're watching. Storylines found in series like Evangelion and Lain are a bit more intricate (and interesting, imo) than most western comics/animation.

And yeah, I think Akira has a good story line, it's just that the movie had to compress the manga a lot.

i've only seen the movie coz i got it yesterday and i think the manga is about 7 books long and the books are huge, it'll take me months to read it all @.@
