well I bought it a couple of days ago. and I can only say .
While it is not too pleasing to play it on my comp (10 fps on the lowest settings). It looks totaly amazing on my friends comp(highest setting most of the time fluid on a geforce2).
Never have seen so beautiful levels in a game before.
And the game is not bad either .

Damn when i saw this topic I knew that only one person other than me would post about this game XB ye beat me to it.
This game is sweet! The levels are massive not just wide but height too! imagin falling from the very top hitting everything on the way down before splat! X3
The lost of FPS (frames per second) is quite bad on the GeForce2 can't have more than 16bots/players otherwise it would be pretty terrible Xp but as the game goes its too fast paced for me, I'm waiting on some of the tactical conversions to be finished.
Its either this game or BF1942 (also a sweet game)

I've played the demo for it and it truly does require a powerful machine. Still it's an insanely addictive game that you don't get tired of very easily. The AI difficulty levels are awesome. They give what seems to be 15 different settings. It's just cool. Of course I suck and can only play with average opponents.

eye, tis a good game UT 2003, but as you pointed out, very power-hungry. On my p4 1ghz, it sometimes goes all black, for no apparent reason for a few microseconds (enough for the bots and/or people to come over and smack me up with a rocket launcher).
Maybe it wasn't the best idea to release a game that demands computer specs that aren't affordable for the average gamer?
Havn't tried Unreal II yet, I hope that'll be cool . Of course, you can always soup-up Quake one to look like Quake 3 with a cool Mod called Tenebrae while you're waiting. Well worth a look! www.tenebrae.sourceforge.net
Byez!
