Well it doesn't, but the X-Box comes with two full games now, along with a hard-drive, ethernet adapter/broadband adapter, or what the fuck ever. What the hell is wrong with $ony. Who do they think they are charging MORE for an inferior system. I wish they would clue in and see that once people relize they are actually paying more for an inferior system... They should drop the price for the holiday season, so more people buy their console instead of an X-Box. Which is crucial, once people buy one system they generally stick with it, the average consumer that is. If I was into sports games and first person shooters, I think the X-Box and GameCube would actually be better for me, but I was the PS2. I don't think I should pay more for it though, just to play RPG's and grand theft auto.

I'd never buy an X-box. Not just because of my unending hatred for Mr Gates (although that goes some way towards it - I'm just WAITING for his horrible failure! And then I shall laugh!!!! muahhahahahhha!)... The PS2 has all the big games - it monopolises the market. And the price IS going down, just slowly. The reason I don't like the Xbox is because it's not designed very well. Bill Gates doesn't seem to be aware of the reasoning behind the console market. Consoles are designed for FUCKIN' GAMING! not for all this internet/email/word processing bollocks. That's what we own computors for, for fuck's sake!! And that's why I rekkon the XBox will never be as big as the PS2, which is essentially designed for gaming. Sony know their market. Very very well. After all, they've been doing this for much much longer. The Xbox price has probably recently gone down because it's selling so appallingly badly - and not surprisingly really. Sony are also INCREDIBLY intelligent at advertising. They advertised the PS2 in all sorts of tiny, local, indie magazines, in student unions, in local places. It must've been a mighty difficult and strategic feat of genius to get all the ads out at once, but it fuckin' worked, didn't it? It's like these goddamn mobiles that have colour screens which you can watch movies on, and WAP so you can surf the net, and a million other pointless bells and whistles.... I'd NEVER shell out such extortionate amounts of money for such pointless crap! I mean, who wants to watch a movie on 1" by 1" screen??? A mad person? I've got a computer for the internet, and a tv and dvd for movies, and it works a trillion gazillion times better that way. I hope the Xbox fails horribly, and takes Mr Gates with it (fingers crossed, however unlikely said scenario is)... sorry for all the swearing. Pix
