Is the game of god himself!!!! ahhh, I LOVE it... it's sooooo good! You have no idea... if you haven't played this yet and have a fairly good pc - GO OUT AND BUY IT NOW! OR ELSE!

And the thing I drew yesterday which oddly I didn't hate beyond all measure was a fanart of the lovely Aribeth, paladin and skimpy-armour-wearin' hero of Neverwinter...

I'm playing a Sorceror... level 7 already, pixie familiar and am casting lots of fireballs... mainly cause they amuse me... get attacked by 10 zombies? > 1 fireball... and lots of laughter... muahahhahahhha! death.

this game has totally enthused me afresh about drawing... not sure why... but it has. It's fantastic. Baldur's Gate, but lovely and 3d, and you only get two people in your team (well, I have four, if you count the pixie familiar and the summoned dire badger... ;) )

Something useful you might wanna use

Bioware Forum

It allows you to access your henchmen inventory and makes their AI better :3 example Linu would switch between her crossbow or mace denpending on the enemy distance so she wouldn't be trying to shoot things at point blank and getting herself killed. X3

Great game but I got a little bored in the end

there was a time when my brother's computer was the greatest technological creation in the history of the world. The Gods in the heavens quaked in their thrones at the mere sight of. it.

I stood proud on it's compuer table overlooking my dining room and could run any game with its eyes closed and one hand behind its back.

Then i borrowed Neverwinter nights.

Oh God the horror. the despair that ran through me as my brothers comp tried to run all the 3D even on the most basic settings.

so anyway i've played an hour of it and hafta agree with Pixie - it's awesome (as far i got anyway).

One day i'll get a PC that'll run it.

One day

It is amazing. And genius. And oh so godly.

And you can build your own levels with the Toolset! I'm learning a bit of scripting, so it's only a matter of time! *rubs hands gleefully* muhahhahah!

Dunno if you have to pay to play online, but I DO know you need a cd key to as much as post in most of their online forums... wasn't too impressed by that one, I can tell ya...

Nah you just log on and find a server. To use your character online, while playing bring up the menu and select save character. Then when you play online you can select your character and carry on training him/her.

Some interesting stuff,
hit the tilde key (or the button above tab) type DebugMode 1

then type dm_MyLittlepony for a wodden horse XB or dm_cowsfromhell for some powerful demons M00!

adsl in a few weeks, so online nwn will be brilliant... !! I know about the cows from hell thing, too... wikkid, huh? tres amusing. ;)

What sort of character do you play? Haven't completed the regular game yet, but I'm playing a Sorceror (about lvl 15 or 16 now, I think?) and she whips some ass...
of course, Daelen being my sidekick...

you can nick all the other sidekick's stuff, too... didya know? If you're using the patch which allows you to mess with the sidekick's inventory, you can just go round all of them asking if you can manage their inventory, and then nick their stuff and leave! They don't appear to mind...
hmm. possibly cheating. ahh, well. I got some boots of fortitude +4 out of it...

It's set up in chapters, and depending how much "work" you do, you get more or less experience... So all the Completists get ALL the experience and their char. is as high level as pos. There's an xp cap (I think - there certainly was in Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale - but don't know what it is in NWN) and I think there are 4 or 5 chapters. Or maybe 6.

Course, after you've finished playing the regular game, you can play online with your high level character, or play other people's 1-player mods (NWN comes with a toolset so you can make 'em easily). So it does have an end. But it doesn't... ;)

I have a question for all you pc heads.

I have a windows xp 1200mhz pc.
It has 256 meg of ram
On board primary display driver with 32 meg of ram
a 40gig hard disk with NWN fully installed.

It runs like shit even on the basic graphic setting. Why the f..k is that??. I went out and bought this game 2day and a f.....g scanner that wont work. Anyone got a Visoneer scanner?. It keeps saying, scanner locked, unlock under scanner. WTF does that mean.

Sorry for the indirect abuse but this is beyond a joke.

Once i get my 3d card im gonna be online adventurin on NWN as soon as i can.

My questions are...

Is it free to join the online NWN community?

What are your character names so we can all posse up for a dungeon romp?.

Anyone got that myth of soma? Any good?.

Later guyz, hope we can arrange something. How bout an OM Unreal tourney or a NWN quest?. Would be fun.
