right, the top 10 I'd reccommend, and own are;
Metal Gear Solid 2 - Sons of Liberty
GTA Vice City (or GTA3)
Final Fantasy X
Medal of Honour Frontline
Devil May Cry
Silent Hill 2
The Two Towers
Dynasty Warriors 3
Max Payne
Timesplitters 2

Thats all I can think of at the mo, but thats the best 10 games I have, and I try to get the best

i'm not saying the story's are linked but when you play from 6 upward or whatever then you can appreciate the advances in graphics/gameplay etc

The stories aren't supposed to link, they are just all supposed to be based around basic elements, like the planets lifestream. And its right about just experiencing the better graphics and sometimes better storylines, but you can't get any better than Final Fantasy 7!

squaresoft is finally gonna break that non connection thing they have with the ff series.
there doin it with ffX, yes thats right its called "Final Fantasy X-2 and it stars a rather well dressed Yuna packed with two magic guns, the world is now tech based and some of the cast from ffX will make short guest appearances.
oh and in that one you can jump and all kinda other things but its now as long. well i hope i helped anyone that didnt know.

you know pyro ....gamepr can sue you for copyrights...to thier plagerism...... ..but he is right.. yuna is pretty nicely dressed ...unfortunatly this one won't have gfs....summons or what ever aeons...ffxs ending will explain that for you.....but ..i have nothing to recomend seing as everything i would recomend is already up there...mainly vice city gta 3 and metal gear 2 are great to own....i say the rest of those you should rent...kingdom hearts is pretty good ...for a disney relative thing...actully its pretty awsome..but..yea......and tuigi ...don't insult ff8 just cause you didn't like it ...although iam plain 2 3 5 ..and sooner or later 7 ...iam a huge fan of that 8......so leave it be..k...

we don't want to lose anything do we ...then i suggest when riding the rolercoster you keep your hands in .... cause this one travels trough hell...

Sup? i know this is old, but tuigi how did you get ff1 ? it was never realesed anywhere but japan. And for the list, just game's in general for ps/ps2. metal gear solid, ff7, ff9, ff10, kingdom hearts( all who oppose just start a topic/argument, but you will lose), gta 3, gta vice city, .hack(when it get's it's new realease date), legend of dragoon, resident evil 2, the end. check ya later.

Only just checked this tread out since Im considering a PS2 right now

Was playing Tony Hawk Sk8boarding 3 on the X-Box last week and I still keep thinking about it so I definetly wanna get the 4th game and will probably go for the PS2 (rather than Gamecube and X-box) since there's the all important FFX and [b]MGS2 games which MUST be got I also wanna give Time Splitters 2 and Silent Hill 2 a burn as well playing some of the oldies like Tekken Tag.

Are there any other games worth mentioning?

I'd probably get Devil May cry, [b]Onimusha/2, SSX was great, so I'd have to get SSX Tricky...

buldars gate is cool but only at 2 players ,if your not plannig to play whit a friend it s not that good, and the camera can be a *&*%? most of the time.
i reccomend you rent it before you buy it.

Sup? you've got some good game's down bomu, but as much as i love final fantasy i kinda recomend not buying it. There are some cool things in it. But the bosses are easy, the weapon synthisiesing is very agrivating, it's so long it looses your attention, and you feel like your watchen a movie all the way through it. But it is your choice. And to reccomend a few games kingdom hearts, devil may cry 2, and wait for .hack( prounouced dot hack). Trust me this will be worth buying when it come's out. Check ya later.

Sup? Tuigi i can't help but admire you, i remember when i had my regular nintendo. I loved faxuandu. I never could beat it, but i loved the hell out of it. But the thing i don't get is that ff1 was never realesed anywhere but japan, so do you have the japanese version ? Check ya later.
