Once again the Nintendo Company has pulled them out of hot water and has developed a new console. Yes it is now considered a console and is playing graphics that surpass the N64. But we all now it’s not all that great. Or is it?

When the Nintendo Company comes up with the coolest ideas and the duel screen is a nice touch. Its hard to explain why it is fun. It just is.

They have countered the word of the PSP Playstation portable, with their own little handy device. But when the P.S.Pdoes come out all the fans will need reservations extremely early. You will need like... Reservations on your reservations to get it. Perhaps Sony will finally create a handheld that will blow the others out of the water. There is only one problem the battery crisis. For the DS's battery life is already 10 hours of game play with out the light. What will the battery life be for this? They already had one crisis on this.

And surely Microsoft will be there (with there enormous amounts of cash to make something in response to the electronic showdown.

But getting back to the ds is it really worth it. Spending what used to be the ridiculous price of $150? I think it is. But hey I’ve only been a gamer all of my life, and I do my research.

The following are devices and or games that will be coming up for the ds

internet activity (which means online games
music device similar to mp3 player
voice recognition
phantasy star online
mario kart ds
need for peed underground (working title)

The Nintendo DS!
Touch Screen!
Microphone Port!

Wireless Network!
Nintendo DS Stereo Sound!

The best functions or things to do for the current date.
1
Best Seller!
Super Mario 64 DS

2 Spider-Man 2 DS

3 Madden NFL 2005

4 Urbz, The: Sims in the City

5 Asphalt Urban GT

6 Feel the Magic: XY/XX

7 Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt

8 Rayman DS

9 PictoChat

10 Ping Pals

(I did this because it is related to something outside of this)

yea but did u know the Ds is just a demo console .

nintendo is just seeing if the market is still out there 4 hand helds and if so there going to be making a brand new upgraded versiono of the DS in like 2 years. so i'd wait before flying after the DS.

Nintendo never made any fancy moves yet they just kinda reproduced what other people have already made. like when the atari was created the nes was to come out soon afeter that. The situation contiues when ps1 came out n64 was made. and ps2 the Game Cube
and when word got out psp wqas coming out that was the DS's mark

nitendo have been the kings of handheld consoles for some time, but i feel the ds will br nowhere near the psp on levels of graphics. It boasts almost PS2-like graphics and a much better selection of games such as the old classic ridge racer!!! Deifnately ill be getting the psp over the ds. PSP will be

The psp does not co0me close to the graphics of ps2. Itsa just the cg-scene/ computer generated intro. The graphics in the ds that arent in "gameplay" are almost like the game cube. But the psp will dominate compared to the ds, even though it has shorter battrey life.

No the DS graphics are just under then N64. Jeez , it seems peoples pride 4 nintendo clouds facts. I really have no intention to buy any hand held, since i can't really use them.(i'll be the one driving now a days , well if i pass my next D test)

Well, I've bitten the bullet and bought myself a DS.

It is absolutely brilliant. I have always made a point never to buy a console/handheld day of release, but I just had to pick up my DS on Friday morning. Mostly because of the backward compatibility with the Advance (which I adore), but the DS features are awesome. I love the touch screen, it really is so very funky and makes a difference to gameplay. Those who played the Metroid demo will know what I'm talking about.

As for the PSP, I'll be picking one of those up, but not straight away. I'll sit and wait for that to go strong as least for a few months before splashing out for one.

eh nintendo is just going to crash soon. Haven't u noticed that it seems instead of going forward their kinda going backwards, they have to remake all there games thes sold more then 2 copies so they might get the same effect and such, i think they should just sell the company and get it over with.

Dude DS is $199 here (Canadian Maritimes)
I'm saving up for a PSP ($350 Can). They come with everything ds has. Backlight, rechargable battery (separate $80), wireless chat. Plus they can play movies, have a 1.8 Gig Hdd (or so a review said) and can play Mp3s while and while not playing games!!
