Id recommend star ocean:till the ends of time and xmen legends.

Baldurs gate anf fallout are quite good, and both made by the same ppl so the interface and engine is all the same. I completed them both in 2 days though. the two games a bove are MUCH longer

Man rpgs just take so long. I wish i could stop time and play an rpg all the way through then turn time back on so it hasn't like killed my life. Huh i dont really know any good ps 2 prgs but i have beaten final fantasy 1 for nes and mario rps snes. Mario rpg was really fun!

cheers guys.

Tri - already have crono-cross, dude, but managed to lose the second cd Might try and find that again Not to keen on the new Xeno saga, i used to have Xenogears but lost (man, i lose soooo many great games). Played thta for hours and never finished it -it went on for ages!

Jats1 - yeah i've got the fallout and baldurs gate games on my pc. Must of played the first Fallout about twenty times - one of my fav games ever.

Erock - yeah rpgs do take ages don't they/ - but that's kinda what i'm looking for. I want a nice long story i can relish. just been remicing about FF7. Now THAT had the greatest rpg story i've ever played.

The ps2 seems to be specializing in the rpg's latley, come to think about it, there isnt that much talk o the Grandtheft series ..... O well.

"SUMMONER"... there are many different varied views on this game. personally, i loved the game, the storylines great, you get really involved. but theres bound to be plenty of peeps who would find it mighty boring. i managed to dig out 32 hours of playtime bear in mind its pretty old now though, so the graphics arent exactly excellent.
"summoner 2" takes on a completely different approach, maybe too much of a difference because i tended not to enjoy playing this one as much as the first. graphics are smooth though.
