Just got a ridiculously fast new computer (I'd tell you the specs but you'd all cry with jealousy) and so have got back into pc gaming again for the first time in a couple of years. Went out and bought Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Quake 4 and Farcry. So far I like Oblivion and quake best. not sure about far cry yet.

Did u overclock ur cards? or did they come that way? because... i really wouldn't recomend overclocking them your self.. it really lowers life span of your cards.
mmmm to bad u have Gforce cards. Oblivion runs much better on ATI cards I find(not that am putting G-force cards down, it's just for oblivion, ATI runs a little better). I only have an X800 GTO ATI card and it runs oblivion on full settings. very fun game.

they are limited edition custom overclocked by the company, and have larger fans to compensate. I find oblivion doesn't really test my computer on full settings. quake is probably the toughest but I still run it on 1600x1200 ultra high quality with 4x aa

I doubt any game released in this decade will ever test it. Realy what you want to try is warping time and space.

Yeah? Try playing Commander Keen 4, that's a real spec-devestating beast!!
Hmm I found Quake 4 to be entertaining, but not more than that, although I used to be a huge Q1+2 fan wahen they came out. Somehow inhouse Id Software games appeal to me more I missed the original Q2 atmosphere and to me the game exhibited the flaws in the Doom 3 engine.
Some badass machine you have there, tho, guess you'll be all prepared for when the Unreal 3 engine will be released

LOL it'll probably be obsolete in 2 years or something . You know how quickly processors and graphics cards seem to evolve . Still, enjoy having a badass gaming rig while you can, right? You tried Half Life 2 on it yet?
