YEYY! I'm not the only one here who knows what Moomins are XD !!!!

I don't remember what would qualify as my first anime though. I've seen a lot of weird shows as a kid c_c;;

If Moomins qualify as anime though then it must have been the first thing though XD *cause it'd be one of these shows they'd for kids in the evening before news >_>*

And I remember watching Mysterious Cities of Gold too XD

Robotech but I was so little back then I didn't really know what i was watching then after a huge gap thanks to the wonders of sky TV saw Gundam Wing, Escaflowne, Evangelion and Martian Succesor Nadesico [or however you spell it]

I'm kinda suprised that this one hasn't had a mention yet. The first anime I can recall watching is Ulysees, another Japanese/French collaboration in the vein of Cities of Gold.

Just to jog your memory it's an interpretation of Homer's classical Greek myths in a sci-fi setting.

holy yeah fading memories of it,
he had this sword/pistol weapon right?
Never thought of it as anime back then (didnt know what anime ist back then) but it is ofcourse.

Other stuff in that vain was Captain Future (was a big hit over here), and Heidi (generations of children has been raised on this ).
And there was this one show with panda bears argh forgot its name, but I loved it back when I was 5-7.

The first one i ever saw was Dragon Ball Z a couple eyars back...i hated it with a passion...all i ever really saw where bad ones like DBZ and pokemon...until this year, when a friend gave me Cowboy Bebop, which is amazing. After that i saw Evangailon(sp?) which i have to admit was rather disturbing...other than that, not much.

Mine would probably be.... Cowboy Bebop that show rocked then and it still rocks!!

My first was NINJA SCROLL, I really liked the SEMI-Historical aspect crossed with all the ninja-like violence, what a complete turnaround from most western cartoons exemplify. From then on I was hooked on those anime series that were serious and had more of an "adult" allure.

My first Anime was Macron One although i heard it was renamed by the Americans and it was originally called Goshogun. Please help me recover a past i have forgotten. No my first Anime was Gundam 0080 but please i need info on Goshogun

I also have some old tapes of it loved that show i use to watch it when i was 5 know i am 16 i like gundamwing.escaflowna,inuyasha,(BECAUSE THATS ALL THE GOOD ANIME I HAVE EVER BEEN ABLE TO WATCH!!!.) o we can't forget YUGIOH O MAN YUGIOH YOYO CHICKEN WING

i am sry i kinda over react when i have to deal with my stupied cable.(YOYO YUGIOH)

The first I saw was either Ulysses Or Mysterious Cities of gold. They were on a channel called TCC I think . You know I never figured out why those crewmen decided to just wander into a big room and float.

The first anime i actually saw was pokemon. Has anybody seen princess Mononoke? I am the masterchief most of you know iam just using a different com.I hate pokeman now.

The first one I've seen was great> Spirited Away,then I got into Princess Monokoe, and I fell inlove. Not the gore too much but the story line is more complex than ur ordinary.

Well the first one I've seen was Spirited Away. Which was great, however, I saw Princess Monokoe and I fell inlove, not too much with the gore( which made me crack up at times) but the story line.
